Fitness Friday 5 Motivational Tips

Hey Ladies,

I’m going to incorporate a new section to the blog which is going to be “Fitness Friday“. The way I can help myself stay motivated in this new journey and maybe motivate you in the process. This is the end of ‘Week #3‘ and it has gone by way to quickly. The topic of this week is going to be about tips on how to stay motivated. So let’s get started…

1. Set A Goal

I can’t stress enough how important it is to set a realistic goal. Many people will recommend setting a goal of where you want to finish off. I on the other hand recommend you to set a goal that is realistic and you can finish within 2 months. An example is to maybe loose 5 pounds in the next 2 months, the way you can achieve it fast enough and not loose motivation.

2. Make It Fun

In order to stay motivated in fitness or weigh lost it’s ideal to either enjoy it or make it fun. If you already enjoy this lifestyle then you won’t need to make it fun to stay motivated. One easy way to make this fun is to go shopping for new gear pieces to spice up your outfits. I personally found the most motivation in my outfits when I first started my weight lost journey.

3. Make A Routine

Whether you exercise at the gym or at home, find the best time of the day to take an hour and dedicate it to fitness. Then follow by finding the days that work best for you. I suggest you start off by doing 3/4 days a week, the way you don’t over work your body. At the moment I’m currently hitting the gym 6 days a week at around 4pm most days. I find that is what works best for me and my lifestyle. I do approximately 15 minutes of cardio just to warm up as I only want to loose 3 more pounds. Then I head off and do my assigned training by 3S Fitness.

4. Keep Moving Foward

There is days where I want to skip the gym and completely give this up because I’m either to sore or don’t see much change. I then tell myself to strive for progress and not perfection, and I suggest you do the same. Your not going to meet your goal overnight, it’s going to take a lot of work. However I promise you the results are worth the wait.

5. Reward Yourself

Rewarding myself is probably the biggest motivation I could have! For instance this month if I do all of the workouts I was assigned, I’m allowed to spend $100 on fitness gear. Being able to spend $100 at once on fitness definitely pushes me to strive harder at each workout. I have 2 more weeks to complete this challenge then I can hit up Lulu Lemon and Aerie. Find something that you have being wanting for a while and treat yourself at the end of the month. Only if you finish your challenge, not otherwise.

As I’m probably going to ran out of fitness topic ideas let me know what you would like to learn more of. I am definitely not a professional but I can speak from personal experience. In case you want to join 3S Fitness use code BETZYFIT for a 50% OFF discount. You can get started with personalized meal planning and training for only $25 a month.
