A few weeks ago I shared my excitement regarding changing my hair color without damaging. In case you are wondering what I’m talking about, you can find a detailed post by clicking here. Long story short I tried out the Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ line from John Frieda. They have been put to the test this last couple of hair washes, and I’m ready to share the final verdict.
I definitely know how expensive it can be to keep up with hair coloring and dropping by the salon frequently. In all honesty that is one of the reasons why I decided to keep my hair dye free, about a year ago. Needless to say my hair is at it’s best state in a very long time, and I get compliments on it all the time. However I like change and this was the perfect opportunity to switch things up.
The idea of trying out a line that promised to lighten my hair without damaging my hair, or costing a fortune naturally caught my attention. The Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ Subtle Lightening Shampoo, Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ Subtle Lightening Conditioner, and Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ In-Shower Treatment has offered me the chance to spice up my look. Good news is I have noticed my hair to be lighter, and in a natural way. I could easily just say it’s my natural hair, and no one would know the difference. I was able to find all the products at a local Walmart, but if for any reason yours doesn’t carry the line, you can shop at Walmart.com for it.
You must already know I’m a fitness addict and that I have made it a priority in my life. This month I have decided to take things to the next level and tone things up. In order to achieve the fit body I have always dreamed of, want to follow my journey? Follow me over at “BetzysFitness” over at Instagram. Now back to what this post is really about I want to share with you my staple hair do for a hike or walk.
I’m a very feminine woman which just means I want to look my best at all times, even when exercising. To some that is not a priority but for me it is, it’s also a sort of motivation.
Step 1 – Take the time to straighten your hair almost thoroughly, and brush it off real good.
Step 2 – Now that your hair is straight, it’s time to pull it up in a sleek pony tail. I like to comb it back, then use my favorite hair tie. Also make sure it’s tight enough so that it stays in place for as long as you need.
Fairly simple right? I do find it’s the best hair style for taking a hike because it keeps your head fresh, and free of flyways. Another thing I enjoy about the popular pony tail is that it’s very sleek and your hair won’t be damaged. I would love to know what is your favorite hair do for working out.
