Pin Up Inspired Makeup 50’s

PR Samples, Purchased

Hey Ladies

This year I finally took the initiative to start my “Halloween Series”, something I have been wanting to do for a long time. Since I do have a lot of looks planned I thought I would start my series a little early. Doing Halloween inspired makeup was not easy as I imagine since I have to plan, shop, and prep for each look.

As I was looking through 50’s inspired makeup images on google I couldn’t find anything that drew my attention as much as an icon. Once I decided that was the look I wanted to use for inspiration I set out my goodies, and started working on it. Once my look was completed I went through my fiancée’s closet to look for a blue plaid shirt and a red bandana. I wanted to this look to be as realistic as possible, then I just added a pair of gold earrings.

50’s Makeup – The trends I noticed from google images was the red bold lip, defined eyebrows, thick eyeliner, rose cheeks and big lashes. You can easily recreate this look with your own makeup collection. I just used what I already had for this look and just focused on the main trends from the era.

I hope you liked this look, until next time.

Hola Chicas
