DIY Dry Hair Mask Solution

Nothing to Disclosure

Hey Ladies

Lately my hair has been looking very dull and dried with my recent hair color change, and styling. That’s why I knew it was time to start researching hair masks again! I ended up picking a few things that would help me bring back shine to my hair.

Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon Honey – Adds Shine
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil – Adds as barrier against salt water & chlorine
1 Can Coconut Milk – hydrates & de-frizzes
Steps:
1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
2. Mix for 1 minute.
3. Apply to the hair, and massage it into the ends and scalp.
4. Leave it on for approximately 15 minutes.
5. Rinse off the hair with lukewarm water, then continue your regular routine.

I’m so glad I gave this mask a try because my hair is now softer and shinier then before. Also my hair kept a honey/coconut scent to it that was delicious! Although I expected my hair to create more oils because of the ingredients it didn’t need a wash until the 4th day.

Hola Chicas

I deep condition every week and sometimes I do a hair masks. I usually mix some organic raw honey into my deep treatment and sit under a dryer cap to steam all the ingredients in! I can't use olive oil it is just to greasy for me and too hard to wash out but I love grape seed, coconut and my favorite jojoba or avocado oil.

I use similar ingredients but instead of the EVOO – I now use Virgin Unrefined Coconut Oil. I actually use coconut oil for everything now – including my face moisturizer… that's why – no more foundation for me… it has fixed my face and complexion. 😉 Great post love.

I'm glad this worked out for you. Best DIY I've ever tried: Brewer's yeast. Worst DIY I've ever tried: apple cider vinegar and baking soda.

Great tips. When I saw your coconut milk, I said to myself "does it have to be Thai". Of course I'm just joking. I'll give this DIY a try.
